We continue to enrich our proprietary database of nearly three billion commercial and residential records, business names, and occupant records for every city and town in the United States from present back to 1992.  We are in the process of adding volumes of historical content never before available so please check back as we continue to expand our data sets and product offerings.

Property Archives was founded based on a belief that there is an immense and untapped opportunity with historical content that can be sourced, curated and leveraged to better tell a property’s story.

Premium City Directory Report

Property Archives’ Premium City Directory Report exceeds the ASTM E1527-21 standard and provides the most comprehensive coverage in the industry by including a search of Property Archives’ proprietary database of over two billion commercial and residential records, business names and occupant records for every city and town in the United States, at approximate five-year intervals, from recent years back to 1993 for the street and address ranges for the subject and adjoining properties.

Further investigation is performed by Property Archives’ professional research staff in national repositories, including the Library of Congress and the Allen County Public Library. Coverage is researched in city directories, cross directories and street address directories in hardcopy or microfilm format.

Abstracts of the information from the directories are provided and where possible, images from directories in the public domain, are included in the final report.
